5 most important things to know about Mahindra XUV 3XO

Mahindra has finally released the eagerly awaited XUV 3XO in India following the release of several teases. The top five things to consider before purchasing a rival car to the Toyota Taisor, Maruti Brezza, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, or Maruti Fronx are listed below

Price (Lakh ex-showroom)

The fully-loaded AX7L 1.2 TGDi is priced at Rs. 15.49 lakh, while the base MX1 manual costs Rs. 7.49 lakh. The price of any petrol AT in this bifurcation is Rs 1.50 lakh more than its corresponding manual version, while the diesel AT is Rs 80000 more expensive than its corresponding MT variant. Additionally, the normal turbocharged gasoline doesn’t go as far as you want it to, so if you want fully loaded gasoline, you should get the Rs 15.49 lakh TGDi. At Rs 9.99 lakh for the MX2 trim level, the diesel range finally begins.

Variants

With an additional level of classification, there are five options available. Next in line are the entry-level MX, followed by AX, AX3, AX5, and AX7. All car models also come equipped with ISOFIX child seat mounting points, six airbags, ESC, seatbelt reminders, ABS with EBD, and three-point seat belts for all passengers.

Engine options

The small SUV’s powertrain options are mechanically identical to those of its predecessor, the XUV300. Thus, there are two engines available: a 1.5-liter diesel and a 1.2-liter gasoline. With a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission, the standard 1.2-liter gasoline engine generates 109 horsepower and 200 Nm. Six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmissions are available for the 1.2-liter GDi turbocharged gasoline engine, which generates 129 horsepower and 230 Nm. Lastly, the 1.5-liter diesel engine has a six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmission and 115 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque. The turbo-petrol’s interesting feature is its 4.5-second 0-60 mph sprint time and 20.1 mpg ARAI-certified mileage.

Modern features

Features like projector headlamps, LED DRLs, 16-inch steel wheels, power windows, front armrest, rear AC vents, a 12V socket, and reverse parking sensors are included in even the most basic model of the vehicle. On the other end of the spectrum are features like dual-zone climate control with rear AC vents, panoramic sunroof, fully digital instrument cluster, Harman Kardon music system, level-2 ADAS, and Adrenox connected car technology.

Design highlights

The new XUV 3XO has been given cosmetic updates, such as new alloy wheels, updated LED headlamps and taillights, and new front and rear bumpers. While the 3XO’s general design is still that of the XUV300, Mahindra has made sufficient changes to give it a distinct personality of its own.
