Last Updated On 18th Aug’22: MG G10 MPV India launch remains far away. However, the MG Hector facelift has been teased officially ahead of its Indian launch.

This upcoming MPV from MG Motor India rivals Toyota Innova Crysta and Kia Carnival. It is likely to be powered by a diesel engine only and will be available with a sliding door configuration just like the Kia Carnival.

Engine Options

We expect the upcoming MG G10 MPV to be available with the same 2.0L diesel engine as the Gloster. The lower-spec model will get a single turbocharged diesel motor that makes 160 bhp/375 Nm while the twin-turbo for the higher-end trim will make as much as 215 bhp of power with 480 Nm of peak torque. It will be mated to an 8-speed automatic torque converter automatic transmission as standard.

Features

We expect the G10 MPV to have sunroof, a large touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging option, air purifier, connected car technology, leatherette interior, ventilated seats, multiple airbags, 360-view camera and more.

MG G10 MPV measures 5,168 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width, 1,928 mm in height and gets a wheelbase of 3,198 mm.

Price

We expect the base model to be priced for as low as Rs 25 lakh while the higher-trim is expected to be priced at Rs 33 lakh. All prices stick to ex-showroom, Delhi.
