Popular 5 auto releases scheduled for October
The Indian automobile market had a flurry of new launches and unveilings in September. With customers’ good shopping attitudes focused on the holiday season, October is expected to bring even more interesting product debuts. Let’s look at the top new automobiles that are anticipated to be on sale this month.
Citroen C3 Aircross
Citroen has yet to formally introduce the C3 Aircross in its entirety despite its first unveiling in April of this year. Although the French published prices for the SUV’s entry-level form last month, they have not yet done so for the other C3 Aircross variations. On October 15, when prices for the whole lineup will be revealed, deliveries for the next Hyundai Creta competitor are anticipated to start. A 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine with 109 horsepower and 190 Nm of maximum torque powers the C3 Aircross. This motor’s first transmission configuration will be limited to a 6-speed manual. The business is also developing an automated and an electric vehicle version of the vehicle.
Nissan Magnite AMT, Kuro Edition
A few weeks ago, Nissan hinted at the Kuro Edition of the Magnite and announced the arrival of an AMT gearbox for the small SUV. The Kuro edition of the Magnite is essentially a sportier-looking version of the vehicle with visual upgrades including all-black treatments inside and outside the cabin accented with contrasting red accents. While AMT versions of Magnite will debut on October 12, the Kuro edition will debut on October 7.
Tata Harrier, Safari facelift
On the company’s social media accounts, Tata Motors has announced facelifted variants of the Harrier and Safari. Since they were introduced on the market, this will be the siblings’ first significant upgrade. The 2019 Harrier and Safari will get some new features in addition to the customary aesthetic upgrades to the exterior and interior, and perhaps a new 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine.
Lexus LM
Later this month, Lexus will introduce the new LM premium MPV in India, based on the latest Toyota Vellfire. There will be a 4-seater and a 7-seater version available. For the back passengers of the former, there are two airline-style ottoman seats. A four-cylinder, 2.5-liter, self-charging hybrid powertrain with a maximum output of 250 horsepower and 239 Nm drives the LM.
Tata Punch EV
Tata Motors has long been testing the Punch variant that runs entirely on electricity. By the end of October, there is a slim likelihood that the automaker will unveil or launch the forthcoming Punch EV. It will be built on Ziptrom powertrain technology, just as previous electric vehicles from Tata Motors, and might provide a variety of battery choices. It will fill the void in the company’s portfolio between the Tiago EV and Nexon EV
