Price: The Jeep Grand Cherokee is now priced at Rs 80.50 lakh (ex-showroom pan-India).

Variants: It is sold in a single fully loaded Limited (O) variant.

Colours: Jeep offers the Grand Cherokee in four monotone shades: Bright White, Diamond Black Crystal, Rocky Mountain, and Velvet Red.

Seating Capacity: The Grand Cherokee comes in a 5-seater layout.

Ground Clearance: The fifth-generation Grand Cherokee has a ground clearance of 215mm.

Engine and Transmission: It gets a 2-litre turbo-petrol engine (272PS/400Nm), mated to an 8-speed automatic gearbox. The Grand Cherokee gets Jeep’s Quadra-Trac 4×4 drivetrain. It also comes with Jeep’s SelecTerrain system offering four drive mode options: Sand/Mud, Snow, Auto, and Sport.

Features: The new Grand Cherokee’s equipment list consists of a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system with over 30 connected car features and an optional infotainment screen for the front passenger. It also gets a digital driver’s display, 9-speaker sound system, a heads-up display, and wireless phone charging.

Safety: Passenger safety is ensured by eight airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS) and advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) like forward collision warning, lane-keep assist and adaptive cruise control.
