The new SUV’s name has not yet been confirmed by the Korean manufacturer. Everyone assumed this SUV would be named the Ioniq 7 because of the Ioniq Seven concept. However, according to Automotive News, Hyundai is renaming the production car the Ioniq 9. In addition to making room in the nomenclature for the smaller Ioniq 7 and Ioniq 8 vehicles, that name would be appropriate given the SUV’s flagship status.
Price of Hyundai’s Ioniq 9
Hyundai has not yet disclosed the Ioniq 9’s price. It should cost a great deal more than the Palisade combustion system, which ranges in price from $36,000 to $54,000. Pricing for the Kia EV9, which has a starting price of $54,900 and a top price of $73,900, might be comparable. With optimal specifications, the Ioniq 9 is expected to surpass the Ioniq 5 N as Hyundai’s most costly car.
