Maruti Suzuki Swift 2024
The upcoming Maruti Suzuki Swift 2024 is expected to be a significant upgrade over the current model.
The new Swift will be slightly larger than the current model, with a longer wheelbase and wider track. The front fascia will also be more aggressive and sporty. The front grille and bumper will be completely redesigned, with sharper lines and a more assertive stance. Slimmer headlights with halogen fog lamps
and LED DRLs will add to its allure.
The interior of the new Maruti Swift is expected to be updated, possibly with a new touchscreen infotainment display and a reworked layout. This is in line with what Maruti has been doing with their lineup and will help modernize the interiors of the popular hatchback.
Tata Altroz Racer
The Tata Altroz Racer is a performance-oriented version of the popular premium hatchback. This model
will be powered by a 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine shared with the Tata Nexon, producing 120 PS and 170 Nm of torque and mated to a six-speed manual transmission.
The Altroz Racer is expected to have dual tone paint schemes, racing stripes, and a body kit. The sporty
ambiance continues inside, with red accents on the seats, steering wheel, and dashboard. Tata is still considering offering the Dual-clutch DCA automatic transmission.
The Altroz Racer incorporates premium elements such as a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system,
a seven-inch digital driver’s display, ventilated seats, and a sunroof. Six airbags ensure safety, and because it is an Altroz, it will receive a five-star GNCAP rating.
New Mahindra XUV 300
The XUV300 facelift will feature a completely redesigned front end, including a new two-part grille, as
seen in the spy image, as well as a larger central air intake. Expect a completely new tailgate, a redesigned bumper with a repositioned number plate, and new rear tail-lamps. The alloy wheels will be redesigned, enhancing the vehicle’s appearance.
The versatile powertrain lineup includes the dependable 112 PS and 133 PS, 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engines, as well as the dependable 119 PS, 1.5-liter diesel engine. The fate of the current gearbox options is unknown; it remains to be seen whether Mahindra will opt for a torque converter instead of the AMT, given the competition’s more sophisticated automatic transmissions.
Expect a new dashboard design, improved equipment options, and an improved infotainment screen.
Notably, a panoramic sunroof is being considered to enhance the appeal of the facelift. The XUV300
facelift is expected to be slightly more expensive than the current model.
Hyundai Creta Facelift
The Hyundai Creta facelift is expected to include a new front grille with integrated LED DRLs inspired by
the new-generation Hyundai Tucson. On the redesigned front bumper, the main headlamps will be positioned lower. These modifications will give the Creta a much more commanding road presence
The powertrain lineup is expected to remain diverse and familiar, with a 1.5L NA petrol engine paired with either a 6-speed MT or a CVT, a 1.5L turbo-petrol engine paired with a 7-speed DCT, and a 1.5L turbo-diesel mill paired with either a 6-speed MT or a 6-speed AT.
There has also been speculation about the launch of the Creta N-Line, a sportier version similar to the
i20 and Venue N-Line.
Tata Altroz EV
Tata Motors’ Altroz EV is an upcoming electric hatchback. It will have a single electric motor and an automatic transmission. According to rumors, it will include an additional battery pack that will increase its capacity by 25-40%, giving it a range of around 500 kilometers. All that is certain is that it will make use of Tata’s Ziptron technology.
Because the Altroz EV is based on the ICE version of the same car, it, like the other Tata EV offerings, will
have teal blue accents around the car to differentiate it from its siblings. Expect a closed front grille, new
alloy wheels, and a few other EV-specific design elements on the exterior. The lack of a mechanical gearbox and lever should result in more cabin space. Tata’s Nexon gear selector will take the place of the gear lever, freeing up storage space in the center console.
