Latest Update: The Hyundai Verna can be availed with discounts of up to Rs 25,000 this month.

Price: The 2023 Verna is priced from Rs 10.90 lakh to Rs 17.38 lakh (introductory ex-showroom pan India).

Boot Space: Verna comes with a boot space of 528 litres.

Colours: Hyundai offers it in seven monotone and two dual-tone colour options: Titan Grey, Tellurian Brown, Typhoon Silver, Fiery Red, Atlas White, Abyss Black, Starry Night, Atlas White with Black roof and Fiery Red with Black roof.

Engine and Transmission: The sixth-generation Verna gets two petrol engine options: a new 1.5-litre turbocharged engine (160PS/253Nm) mated to either a six-speed manual or a seven-speed DCT, and a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated unit (115PS/144Nm) paired with either a six-speed manual or a CVT gearbox.

Features: Features on board the 2023 Verna include a dual integrated screen setup (including a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system and a digitised driver’s display). It also gets an eight-speaker Bose sound system, switchable controls for infotainment and AC, 64-colour ambient lighting, a single-pane sunroof, an air purifier and ventilated and heated front seats.

Safety: On the safety front, Hyundai is offering the compact sedan with six airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchorages and ABS with EBD as standard. Its higher variants also come with electronic stability control (ESC), front parking sensors, all-wheel disc brakes, and a tyre-pressure monitoring system. It also features advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) such as forward-collision warning, blind-spot alert, lane keep assist, lane departure warning and adaptive cruise control.

Rivals: The new Verna is a rival to the Honda City, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Skoda Slavia, and Volkswagen Virtus.
