Latest Update: Kia has revealed the production-ready version of its three-row electric SUV, the EV9.

Launch: It could be launched in India by April 2025.

Price: It is expected to have a starting price of Rs 80 lakh (ex-showroom).

Battery, Motor And Range: The EV9 will likely get a large battery pack which can deliver a claimed range of up to 482km. Its platform supports fast charging of up to 350kW, which should help its battery to be juiced up from nought to 80 per cent in under 30 minutes.

Features: Inside, it boasts two 12.3-inch touchscreens integrated with a 5-inch display, 180-degree rotational second-row seats. The EV9’s third row is also equipped with charging ports and cupholders.

Rivals: The EV9 will be a rival to the Volvo EX90.
