Latest Update: Skoda Slavia gets a more affordable mid-spec variant this festive season.

Price: Slavia is priced between Rs 11.39 lakh and Rs 18.68 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi).

Variants: It is currently available in four broad variants: Active, Ambition, Ambition Plus and Style.

Colours: Skoda offers the Slavia in five colour options: Crystal Blue, Tornado Red, Carbon Steel, Brilliant Silver and Candy White. The Anniversary edition comes with a new Lava Blue shade.

Boot Space: It has a boot space of 521 litres.

Engine and Transmission: Slavia comes with two turbo-petrol engine options: a 1-litre unit (115PS/178Nm) and a 1.5-litre unit (150PS/250Nm). Both of these engines are paired with a six-speed manual transmission as standard. For automatic options, the smaller engine gets a six-speed torque converter and the bigger one comes paired with a seven-speed DCT (dual-clutch automatic).

• 1-litre AT: 18.07kmpl
• 1.5-litre MT: 18.72kmpl
• 1.5-litre DCT: 18.41kmpl

To boost fuel efficiency, the 1.5-litre engine uses cylinder deactivation technology to switch off two of the four cylinders when under less load.

Features: Features on board the Slavia include an eight-inch touchscreen, cruise control, and automatic climate control. It also gets an eight-inch digital driver’s display, a single-pane sunroof and ventilated front seats. The Anniversary edition of the sedan gets a 10-inch touchscreen display. The Ambition Plus variant of the Slavia also features a built-in dashcam setup.

Safety: On the safety front, it gets up to six airbags, ABS with EBD, ISOFIX child-seat anchorages, a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), hill-hold assist and a rear parking camera.

Rivals: The Skoda Slavia is a rival to the Hyundai Verna, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, Honda City and Volkswagen Virtus.

The price of Skoda Slavia starts at Rs. 11.39 Lakh and goes upto Rs. 18.58 Lakh. Skoda Slavia is offered in 19 variants – the base model of Slavia is 1.0 TSI Active and the top variant Skoda Slavia 1.5 TSI Anniversary Edition AT which comes at a price tag of Rs. 18.58 Lakh.
