    The Tata Altroz EV prices are expected to range between Rs. 12.00 Lakh – Rs. 15.00 Lakh, depending on the variant selected.

    Summary:

    The Tata Altroz EV is expected to launch in India by January 2023. It gets a permanent magnet 127.2bhp electric AC motor propelled by a 30.2kWh battery. This unit is mated with a single-speed gearbox which is claimed to have a range of 250-300kms. It is the same setup as the Tata Nexon EV and Tigor EV.

    Compared to the ICE-powered Altroz, the EV version is expected to receive a new digitally inspired lower grille, which will give Altroz EV its signature look. It is also likely to get dual ultra-slim headlamps, a redesigned air dam, a new teal blue colour, electric blue accents all around, the absence of an exhaust pipe at the rear, a few EV badges around the car, and new alloys.

    The interior of the Altroz EV is expected to get a modern aero command centre with a seamless cockpit-like theme connected from end to end. Apart from this, it could also get a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system and ambient lighting.

    Tata claims that the Altroz EV can be charged from zero to 80% in an hour.
