The Nexon facelift 2023 was unveiled on 1 September and will be launched in India on 14 September 2023. Bookings opened on 4 September.

The new Tata Nexon facelift will be launched in the Smart, Smart+, Pure, Creative, Creative+, Fearless and Fearless+S trim levels.

What features will be available in the Nexon facelift?

Exterior:

The Tata Nexon facelift draws heavy inspiration from the Curvv SUV showcased at the Auto Expo 2023. The front end gets a more angular and upright stance with redesigned bumper and grille.

At the rear, the SUV gets a connected LED light strip between the LED tail lamps to compliment the look of the front fascia.

Interior:

On the inside, the Nexon facelift gets the brand’s modern dashboard layout with a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It will also get the all-digital instrument cluster as showcased in the updated Altroz Racer, Harrier, and Safari at the Auto Expo 2023. Other features include ventilated seats, split folding rear seats and height adjustment for both the driver and passenger.

What will be the engine, performance, and specifications of the Nexon Facelift?

Tata is offering the Nexon with its 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine which is capable of producing 118bhp and 170Nm of torque. This engine can be had with a five-speed manual, six-speed manual, six-speed AMT or a seven-speed DCT. The diesel is Tata’s 1.5-litre four-pot that produces 113bhp/260Nm and can be had with a six-speed manual or a six-speed AMT.

Is the Nexon facelift a safe car?

The Tata Nexon facelift has not been tested yet, but it is safe to say the SUV will likely score well in the crash test as the current model has been awarded a five-star GNCAP safety rating.
