When will the Volkswagen ID.4 be launched? 

Volkswagen is awaiting the green light for the validation of the ID.4 EV and is expected to launch it in India early next year.

What features will be available in the Volkswagen ID.4?

The GTX version will get a dual-tone exterior, ride on 20-inch alloy wheels, and feature pop-out door handles. It has an all-black interior with a floating touchscreen infotainment system. There’s a three-spoke steering wheel and a digital instrument cluster as well.

What will be the engine, performance, and specifications of the model?

Globally, the ID.4 comes in a range of powertrains, including single-motor rear-wheel drive and dual-motor all-wheel drive configurations. The GTX variant that is expected to be launched packs 299bhp and is powered by a 77kWh battery pack. The carmaker claims this EV can cover up to 480km on a single charge.

Is the Volkswagen ID.4 a safe car?

The ID. 4 GTX is laden with safety features, including seven airbags, surround-view camera, and a tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS). It even gets driver-assistance features like adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, and lane-keep assist.

What will be the rivals to the Volkswagen ID.4?

The Volkswagen ID.4 GTX upon launch will compete with the Kia EV6, Hyundai Ioniq 5, Volvo XC40 Recharge, and the upcoming Skoda Enyaq iV.
